As punishment for breaking his iPhone, Jake's mom has decided that he must use this case for every phone that she buys him in the future. If he is caught without his case, she takes away his phone. Do you think this is fair? Why or why not?
no. Because that case would do nothing!!! the face is barley protected, and should go get a different case. I see that case is pretty strong, but why would you walk around with this lobster in your pocket or hand, how would you carry it? But I do half to admit, that is pretty boss, but Jake, just get a different one. Jake should also not get punished for breaking his i phone 5, because he didn't break it. so Alex should buy him a new screen. Anyways, Jake, if you would get this case, you should go to red lobster and tell the waitress that you don't need anything, and go on your phone. And, DON'T LEAVE YOUR PHONE THERE!!! I could imagine what your phone would be like if it was put in boiling water.
I personally do not think that it is fair because it was not Jake's fault that the screen was shattered. Another kid kicked Jake were his iPhone was in his pocket and shattered the screen. This punishment is a little extreme and Jake should not get in trouble for something that he didn't do. I think that the kid that broke the screen, Alex V., should buy Jake a new screen for his iPhone 5. Maybe next time he will learn to not kick people and be nicer. So, no Jake Seibert should not be punished for something he did not do and the person at fault should be punished.
This is so unfair, its completely embarrassing to have to carry that giant thing around. Shell enjoy the laughs she gets outta him but, he can always take it off when he gets to school or when hes around friends. As long as mom is away he can put the case away. But when hes caught hes S.O.L. and how would the phone even fit in his pocket or his sweatshirts. Teachers would be taking it away constantly because people would get distracted and his phone would be left on the desk cause it cant fit anywhere else. So his mom is whacked and needs to get a different case for him.
I think that Jake should not be punished for that he did not even do that. He was walking down the hall and got kicked so that is why he should not get punished. I think even if Jake is caught without the case he should still be able to have his phone. The case is very cool but I think that the case is a little weird and that the Iphone doses not need that much protection. What happens if the Iphone gets broke again? Dose he get an another phone. If he gets caught dose he get it back? If she catches him will she glue the case to the phone?

One day at band Jake was playing his instrument and he is very good at it. But something made him say something to Al and Al kicked him and it cracked. First Jake should't have said any thing and Al should have kicked him. So Back to the question. This is not fair because it wasn't his fault but it was so I don't know what to do. So HE SHOULD KEEP THE CRAP PHONE.
I do not think that this is fair because you cannot really carry this around in your back pocket. Knowing Jake he is just going to carry it like a dog and pet it every once in a while. So really this is not going to teach Jake anything besides to break his iPhone more often. Instead of this punishment I think that he will never get a new one again if he does break it. Also his mom should get him a bright pink case instead of the lobster. I think that will make Jake not want to show it in public so he might not bring it out in class so much.
Yeah, it is not really fair to give Jake a phone case like that. Will that case even protect his phone? The case does look pretty funny, but I would not like to have that case. You would not even be able to put phone in your pocket with that case. You would have to have a purse or a backpack to put it in. I don't think Jake would wear a purse, so he may just either have to carry the phone around with him, or wear a backpack and put his phone in that. My final answer is, no, he should not be punished with this phone case. I think he should get it fixed, and then if he brakes it again he gets a punishment.
I think this is totally unfair to Jake. A few of the reasons are one that Jake didn't even break his iPhone it was another kid who kicked his pant pocket when his iPhone was in there so it isn't even his fault it broke. Next order of business is that there is no case that could have prevented this screen from breaking not even that stupid lobster case so making him wear that is senseless on all levels. This is so insane that it shouldn't have even brought up a discussion this insane matter should have been dismissed right away.

Although it is karma but the that leads to my second reason. It might have broken, but nobody and I mean nobody should ever have to witness seeing a delicious cooked lobster and not be able to eat it! That is just down right evil. My third reason for it not being fair is that Jake would just smack people with it thus making us be punished and not him because if anything Jake would enjoy it.
