Here you go, Culen!

Write all about your name;  how you got it, why your parent's picked it, what it means, and what you think about it.

If you don't know, ask your parents!

  1. Well first of all, is pronounced, ........ cuLen, with a capital L. And my name is Collin, but I like cuLen better. Well anyways,(this is the honest truth) I was named after a character in a book called "Collin and the Secret Garden" I was pretty embarrased that my parents named me after a book. But 13 years later, the name, cuLen formed from my big brother, Logan. Logan is always calling me cuLen, for some reason, but I don't know why. It first started as Kiada from Connor, but then Logan formed it into, cuLen. The first name was originally Culen with no capital L, but then I changed it to a capital L to make cuLen fancy. And that's how I got cuLen. But there's one more part to it..... I think cuLen as my name in a different formation. My brothers are convincing me that I came from the Amazon in the jungle with all of the apes. They said that the Alpha male called me cuLen, and that's my name forever.(So that's how it really formed.)

  2. OK my name is Ryan. I Got my name because my mom and dad could not agree on a name so they decided to keep looking and they came upon Ryan my mom liked Bryan and my dad liked Ryan, So my mom gave in and said that it could be Ryan.that is how I got my name. . I like my name a lot because it reminds my of my uncle that passed away before i was born. Some times I wish that my name was different because it gets annoying. Some times I also wish that I had a longer name because i think that it will be more fun. I like my name and think that it is cool but I need to learn that it is my name and that s what it is going to be for the rest of my life. I don't always like my name but I like it better than other names that I now.

    1. That's the nice thing about being named after a family member, once they are gone, you have a permanent reminder of them.

  3. After asking my mom why I was named Austen she told me the elaborate story. It all started when my mom and dad were on their honeymoon. They were in the Rocky Mountains. It was the first day of the three day trip. They had just finished sight seeing and were walking back to their car, when all of a sudden they saw two black bear cubs but no mother. Then they heard a loud roar behind them, it was the mother bear, when out of nowhere a man by the name of Austen Alexander jumped down from a tree and shot the bear with a tranquilizer dart. My parents then thanked him for saving their lives and promised to name their second born boy after him. Then I was born. THE END

  4. Hello there, my name is Jake Seibert. The name Jake comes from the origin of hebrew and means "the healer" or another one is apparently hell bringer... But anyway, my parents named be James in the first place because thats just whats on my birth certificate but my family calls me jacob mostly. You guys usually call me Jake. Anyways I really have no idea what my name is so we'll start with James. My dad named me after my grandpa, James. We call him pops. By the way he makes amazing waffles. The second name is Jacob because it was just was a popular name at the time and the name Jake is just short for Jacob. So yea. Nothing really special about my name except that I have three of them so yea. I'm finished.

  6. My name is Samuel because they couldn't name me Jack. My parents couldn't name me Jack because there was a Jack already on the Hebbe side so they just named me Samuel. Yup, I know real special and meaning to my name. But that is it that is the reason they called me Samuel. But there is a funny story to my name. For the first years of my life I did not know how to spell my name. I had trouble knowing if I was to spell my name Samuel or Samual. So for a while in my life I spelled my name two different ways because in some of my old art work when I was little I spelled my name Samual and not Samuel.

  7. Well how I got my name is a very long complicated story it all strated out about 5,000 years ago. There were really sifisticated people and lived in a thriving world until the war and during the war every body died except for 40 people and those people were all named Alex. So my parents thought it would be cool if my name was alex. I think my anme is the collest ever because at one piont in earths history there was only forty people and they all hade my name.

  8. Im posting this here so you see it!

    Um...Dad?

I would say that that's not my dad and that we should leave now because of the extreme "stranger danger". I would then quickly exit the house in a calmly manner and later explain to her that he was just all part of her imagination and that she should cut back on the calories because our relationship is in jeopardy because she is becoming increasingly unattractive. Then maybe after we last after that conversation I will then tell her on her death bed that "The man that lit his beard on fire was just my dad and the calories were not affecting your mind at all. You were never fat and it's my fault that you're dyeing. You became anorexic and puked your lungs out your nose." Then she dies. So eh... Happy endings eh? Well I think I'm done here.

  9. My name is Wyatt. How did I get this name? Well, I got this name when I was born, and my parents decided to name me Wyatt. Why? My parents decided to name me Wyatt, because my great-grandpa was named Wyatt. Unfortunately I never got to meet him, because he passed away when I was like 1 year old. I must say it would have been pretty cool to meet him. Anyways, I asked my parents, and they said they named me after my great-grandpa Wyatt. I'm happy they named me Wyatt, and like how there was another Wyatt that was my great-grandpa.

  10. My parents named me Joe because they both liked that name, but my dad like the football player Joe Montana. My dad watches every NFL game, but he will only watch the Michigan Wolverines for college teams. I was born on my dad's birthday, so he got to pick my name.
