Everyone has experienced jealousy in their lives. Sometimes it's easy to get over, sometimes it's not. Describe a time you've encountered jealousy and explain how you were able to overcome it.
I get jealous all the time because my sister always gets less work then me. Well to be honest to you most times I dont get over it. Why, because it happens so often and I can't to do anything about it. So for now I've given up. But I will be back soon
I've gotten jealous of my sister and brother because they have study halls where they can do all their homework, and I have to do mine at my house. I got over this by doing most of my homework right when I get home, and the rest after supper like reading the Pearl. That way in between those I can do stuff like go outside.
A time when I got really jealous was my brother got to go to Washington dc and I didn't get to go. I wasn't mad but I wish I could have gone along. My brother also went to new York. s
When I get jealous its usually about something that my parents let him do but not me. Sometimes I get mad at my parents, but then I also get mad at my brother. Usually my parents are fair, but when my brother gets something, or gets to do something at an age that I don't. So lets say my brother gets something at the age of 15, ( like a phone) I usually will get it at the age of 13. The only thing that I probably will not do before him is alcohol. I still have to wait till I am 21.
I was mad when my brother got a new TV. I got mad because he got the one that I wanted. It was 32 inches wide. It made me a little happier when he let me use it. Thats how I got over my jealousy.
I got jelous when my sister got a computer she would not let me play on it. So I took it and did my work On it an then I got grounded for takeing her computer.so then i was not jelous.
I am sometimes jealous of Mr. Eddy when he gets to go somewhere during the day because he is retired. Today he is meeting Charlie,his friend at the Sanitary District, for lunch and to go over a report together. I would like to meet a friend for lunch sometimes!!
I was jealous when my sister got to go to new York and I didn't .Ya I have birthdays to you know.I didn't get to go to new york for my birthday.It was so unfair that she got to go and I didn't . And that is why I was jealous of my sister getting to go I didn't get to go.
I would ask how you got over your jealousy, but it sounds like you're still upset about it. ;) Maybe when you're older you can go to NY for your birthday too.
Sometimes I get jealous of my brother when I have to clean the chicken coop,and he has to do something easier like watering the garden. Sometimes he lets me switch with him. When he doesn't switch with me I just get over it by playing basketball. I use basketball to manage my emotions. That is how I get over stuff.

DeleteI just got jealous of Alex G because he easily thought of what he was jealous of but I couldn't think of anything. But I got over it by typing this.

That's a tough one, it's hard not to be jealous of someone who gets to go on cool trips. I'd be jealous too!
