All for one, one for all?

Our iPad game agreement was breached, and as a class you decided to only punish the offenders instead of taking a shorter punishment as a group. What factors went into your decision? Was this a hard choice to make? Do you think you made the right choice? Why or why not?

  1. I think we did what had to be done. We only made the people who made us get in trouble not have games for half the year. Everyone has to sign the contrast. It was not fun making it. We made it on Google docs.

  2. I have to agree with joe here... What we did was a great ides. These people broke the rules, and should be severely punished for what they did. Those people should pay the Price of what they did, and will now learn.

  3. I have to agree with Culen and Joe on this one too. The people who broke the rules deserve the punishment. At the very start of school Ms. Chetto told us to NOT play games, but two people did. And I agree with the class that just those two people should get punished because if no one else was playing games, why should we be punished. But I also agree that if one more person is playing games in class we should all lose them for the rest of the year.

  4. I'm going to have to agree with the others. If someone committed a murder should the witnesses also be charged? To some people they in joy doing exactly this. Doing something exactly like this misbehaving because they know that it will make everyone mad if they get a perk taken away because of something you did. That is why I think only the guilty party should lose things and not the innocent.

  5. I'm going to agree with Alex, Wyatt, Collin, and Joey. The people that broke the rules got punished. I think this is fair because if some one in America killed some one, is everyone in the country going to be put to death? Well, no because not every state has a death sentence, but thats not the point. The point is the two people that committed the crime, get punished individually. They got punished for what the deserved.

  6. That was the best because we all get another chance. So we have a fair chance.there was also a fair punishment. So I agree with every one.so I think that was the right choice.

  7. Yes I do think this was a good decision. They were warned if they break the rules they would be takin away. They have to suffer the consequences other wise it would not be fair to us.Well everyone knows now cause we have signed a contract. So that is why I thought it was a good decision.

  8. I think the iPad choice was a good idea and that I made a good decision as well. I think that we shouldn't even have played on our iPads in the first place. I am guilty of playing on my iPad when was not instructed to. But now I know that teachers are watching and so I will not play now without my teachers approval.

  9. I believe we chose the right thing. The reason I think we chose the right thing because the people who have wrongfully done have been punished. We worked out the situation kind of like the U.S. government. Now we will sign a contract saying that if anybody gets caught again the entire class will get all the games taken away for the rest of the year.

  10. I believe that it's a constitutional right to have a share of objects. I think that everyone deserves a fair slice, though. If we don't it wouldn't be fair. If the work was split then share it if it was done by one the one gets to keep it.
