Open Mouth, Insert Foot

Everyone says things without thinking every now and then. Write about a time you did this.

How did you feel after you said it? What do you wish you would have said instead? What happened as a result of you speaking before thinking about how it was going to sound to whomever you were talking to?

  1. This DQ involves people saying stuff that they should not say. I sometimes call my brothers names I shouldn't sometimes. I don't really want to say it because I don't want to hurt their feelings, I just want to have a comeback at them. But it seems like you can never break it to them be not calling them names. I guess not calling them anything is the right thing.

  2. First of all I never have done this and I’m not a big chap stick user so I really have never done anything like that! But if you want im going to make up a story…………… once a long long time ago Cody was in the shower singing to his favorite songs when all of a sudden the power goes off and the shower starts spitting out muddy water. I was really grossed. I then went outside and played on my trampoline to get dry and to wait for the power to turn back on. I don’t know why or when I decided to go got the chap stick but I felt like my lips were chapped. So I went inside in search of chap stick. Remember the power was off so I was looking through all these drawers. I found some that I thought was chap stick and applied it. After a few minutes I couldn’t open my mouth. So I called 911 and went to the hospital.

    1. That would be annoying with your lips stuck together.

  3. This did happen to me little while ago. My sister Abby got a small tattoo of a heart. I didn't really get a good look at it, so I wasn't sure if it was real. As she was showing everyone, I asked if it was real or made by a marker. Thankfully she didn't hear me, only Emily heard me. Emily later told me that I am lucky that Abby didn't hear that, because she would have taken it offensively. I wasn't really thinking about it that way, and didn't notice how that could mean that her tattoo looked like it was drawn from a marker. It really did look great, but I just saw it from a distance.

  4. I was talking about a new video game and it was Minecraft and it was coming out for Xbox 360. It was something about the Worlds and I didn't know what it was and I have never played it. I was is that the name of the map and how big is it. I thought it was like Halo or Call of Duty but no. It is a building game and I new that after getting yelled at.

  5. Well i was mad at my dad and he told me that i was grounded and I was mad. I said that I did not want to live there and that I wanted to stay at my moms. I felt bad because i did not really mean that.I said that i was sorry and that I did not mean that. I said that I spook with out thinking. He said that it was OK and that he knew that I did not mean that. He sent me to my room and that was that. After that we did not speak of that.

  6. Well when me and Logan Schultz were spending the night at Andre's house and me and Logan went on the computer and we noticed that it was still logged into Andre's account so we wrote stuff that I am not aloud to talk about on here but one of the things was that we wrote I am a girl. I did not really feel bad about it other than the fact it got like 50 likes and then my brother commented on it saying," CALLED IT!" Haha it was pretty funny and everyone learned a valuable lesson Andre learned to log off his computer and me and Logan learned that it was easy to get on his Facebook.

  7. Well every once in a while I will insult some one or say something that I didn't really think about it and if I was thinking I probably wouldn't have said it but what can I do now. Most of the time after I say it I regret it and wish I wouldn't have said it. I usually wish I wouldn't have said anything at all. I don't really know what happens after I say whatever I say.

  8. I can't think of really anything else except saying things without thinking about it then getting in trouble for it, and like everybody else said can't, or shouldn't really say it here. But here's a nice story about a boy that left his Facebook signed in, and Jake found it. Now as you know, Jake can never resist the rare opportunity to another's account property and liking all of Justin Bieber's albums and writing something very offensive about the user on their own wall. So Jake went ahead wrote "I eat salmon fish". When the user had soon discovered his fate he couldn't hold back the tears as he read the replies from his friends and family members. One from his cousin read "Wow user, I had no idea that's how you felt. If you ever wan't to talk about it give me a call". With devastation, user quickly removed the comment and deleted Jake the next day. And that's the story of the time user left his Facebook signed in.
