Hurricane Sandy is this big scary wind monster that chews people houses up then spits them out everywhere. I also know that it put Activision servers down for a couple of days and I could not play Mw2 for the weekends. No one likes you sandy, go home. Anyway, Sandy is this hurricane than went along the East coast and ate everything in its path, peed in NYC's subways, and that's all I know. Have a nice day guys!
Hurricane Sandy is a big Hurricane, so big that they have now been calling it "Super Storm Sandy". It has destroyed cities, flooded many streets and the New York City Subway. The good part about it flooding the Subway is that now it will get rid of the rats and the smell of urine. Also it has swept houses into the ocean, along with most of the carnival place that I think is in New Jersey. It also shut down Wall Street for the first time in a long time. It has ripped entire sides of buildings off. Super Storm Sandy has also killed over 117 people. Then after Sandy passed through it snowed and just made it worse. But for the people that were not affected, even though it has effected all of us in one way or another, have been sending non-perishable food items, clothes, and some have even gone to the eastern sea board to personally help those in need. I'm Some fancy news reporter from some fancy news station reporting out.

Well put, Austen. I think Jake was taking a more comedic approach instead of answering it seriously. Comedy is great, when it's appropriate. We love Jake's humor, but sometimes we need to be serious, too.
I have seen a lot of stuff about Hurricane Sandy on the news. It caused a TON of damage to the east coast. It effected New York and New Jersey the most. On the news, the showed pictures and videos of what Hurricane Sandy did. There was boards in the middle of the roads, metal pipes, cars, pretty much everything. Hurricane Sandy did so much damage. There was no power for a really long time, and there still is not power in some places. I also watched a TV show about a person who was stranded in there house that was surrounded by water. Then, there garage started on fire because of the water in the garage (it was an electrical fire). They barely made it out alive when a guy drove by on a jetski to save the person. Many areas were flooded, and many people were killed. It is very sad, but thankfully there are a lot of people willing to help. I can't even imagine how many people were hurt or how many people's houses were damaged. It must have scary for those people, and I hope they recover well.
I agree with the few others who have done this DQ all I know is that there was this huge storm that they talked about on the news forever they barely had any time in the shows to talk about the election! It was all they talked about just sandy sandy sandy, they over talk everything on the news. So yeah anyways this storm or hurricane they called super storm sandy and it was apparently this huge storm that pretty much destroyed the east coast. Another thing I Know about super storm sandy was that the flood radius for new York was literallrly a block away from my uncles apartment complex he is soooooooooo so lucky his apartment didn’t get flooded because he lives on the very first floor. My uncle’s apartment is at the top of a small hill so he said that after the hurricane there was a ton of deep puddles and the water almost covered the road at the bottom of the hill but not quite yet.
What I know about Hurricane Sandy is that she was a Superstorm that hit the U.S with over 50mph winds and did a lot of damage on the east coast. One of the hardest hit areas was New York. They could not even ride a bike after the storm because there was so much rain the beach sand washed off the beach and on to the roads. Some people and businesses are still without power almost two weeks later. A lot of people lost houses and animals some even lost family members. The mayor of some of the cities said that people with license plates that ended in an odd number were allowed to only get gas on odd number days of the month. There are a lot of firemen that are still trying to help people clean up and get power. There were even some workers that were going there to help any one they could by getting them food and shelter. It was a bad disaster that ruined major cities on the east coast and will take a long time to clean up.
Hurricane sandy was a huge hurricane and it was heading right for the eastern coast. Other than that I don’t know much. It hasn’t even been on the news in the mornings for a while. I kind of wish I could see some pictures. I also know that some people are going down there to help with people who have problems. Mr. Hermies is going down there to help with people who have problems with their letrical work. Another person went down there to help with the heating units. In church my pastor was talking about it and she said that a lot of houses are without power. A lot of people have even made fires in their house to keep warm.
Also it knocked many power stations so people will be out of power for weeks. My aunt was there in Boston when it happened. So people are not so happy anymore. Mw2 is up again so i'm happy.
I know one thing for sure is that Rihannas going to need one big umbrella (troll face). Hurricane Sandy wiped out a bunch of people. One other thing I know is that it has been on iFunny a lot. There have been quotes that say " Oh, you don't want to go to school, I got you bro." But other than this I don't know much about it. Ms. Chetto if we don't know much about it this will affect how much we write about it sorry Ms. Chetto I stated my fact on why I can't write 150 words on this sorry.
